LA County Training Center (Fire Camp)

Our Mission

The Los Angeles County Training Center (LACTC) is a program that prepares participants for careers in the fire service with access to case management and supportive services.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Must be able to reside at the Los Angeles County Training Center in Calabasas, CA
  • Priority applications: Former justice involved, former foster system impacted, and veterans
  • No arson and no sex crime convictions.

 

Program Highlights:

  • Free residential accommodations and free meals at the Calabasas training facility.
  • Certifications, trainings, and career guidance in the fire services career field

  • Expungement assistance, as needed
  • Case management support
  • Job coaching and job placement assistance
